Mui Tsz Lam Forest Village Campsite - Sustainable Campsite Design and Hackathon

Taking co-creation experiments out of the box, we designed and led a 3-month long hackathon with 7 days and 2 stages of events, half of which involve outdoor workshops including an overnight camping in the forest and abandoned farm. In this project, we recruited 16 core participants from 16 different sectors and 50+ experts and interested parties in environment and ecology, tourism and hospitality, sustainable design, outdoor sports etc to co-create and collaboratively develop concrete design plans for a sustainable campsite in Mui Tze Lam Village. The campsite is completed and officially open on Dec 30, 2023.
